ROLE of the POSITION
This position exists to tell the UNLV Athletics story with the goal of increasing fan affinity, drive revenue through awareness and engagement, and attract recruits to athletic programs. The Assistant Director of Video Production will create content to disseminate across social media channels, YouTube, UNLV Athletics, and e-mail. He or she will also create content to run in game in athletics venues with the goal of enhancing the fan experience through engagement and contribute to a high-energy atmosphere to help the home field advantage of teams.
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited college or university and two (2) year’s comparable professional experience. In addition, must be proficient in Adobe After Effects, Premiere, and Photoshop; possess a high proficiency in audio and video technologies, camera operation, frame composition, and lighting; possess an ability to create motion graphics; possess strong knowledge of social media and YouTube; possess extensive knowledge of athletics branding, game entertainment, and brand development; and possess knowledge of all applicable NCAA rules and regulations.
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
