You will support the Manufacturing team in producing world class Stalker Speed Measurement and Video-related products. You will be involved from the design phase through manufacturing and customer fulfillment.

Applied Concepts, Inc., is a Richardson, Texas based electronics company, with 160 employees, specializing in Radar products, Lidar speed measurement products and Video products. We were founded in 1977 and design, build, and sell all our own products worldwide.
Our engineering group has developed the largest portfolio of intellectual property in our industry and we are recognized for the excellence of our products. We are looking for ONE exceptional Electronics Manufacturing Engineer that can help us to continue our tradition of being both the technological leader and sales leader in our marketplace.
WE WILL BE PARTICULARLY INTERESTED IF:
You have a very diverse work background (multiple disciplines or multiple technologies) You have a broad skill set documentation, hardware, test, and software You have worked for a Contract Manufacturer or aother Electronics Manufacturer. You have worked as a consultant for multiple clients You have worked for a small electronics manufacturing company and been responsible for “doing it all”

A 4-year technical degree or 2-year degree with extensive experience. Technical writing experience Strong Computer Skills 10 years’ experience in an electronics manufacturing environment. Pass a drug screen test
Good verbal and documentation skills Experience with working with manufacturing staff, creating test plans, directing the assembly process and overseeing final product quality. SMT line experience Ability to fearlessly solve manufacturing problems Providing factory support, solving yield issues and improving production processes.
Work with Quality and Engineering to establish and maintain production procedures, ensuring a high standard of manufacturing operations, product quality, reliability and safety. Monitor and control manufacturing capacity, including making recommendations regarding labor and capital expenditures. Recommend automation, assembly equipment and test equipment as needed to achieve improved product quality, customer responsiveness and/or reduced cost. Analyzes Engineering Change Notices and coordinates implementation Engineer, Purchasing, and Production Act as a champion of efficiency improvement efforts, playing a key role in the daily waste reduction activities. Work with IT to streamline manufacturing and planning functions. Helps manage new product introductions
