Bowhead seeks an Engineer to examine engineering drawings to detect inaccuracies of detail and function.
Evaluates overall design for functionality, conformance to drawing standards and design specifications.
May operate computer to examine and evaluate computer-generated drawings.
May assist in developing, designing, and running tests on aircraft, space vehicles, surface effect vehicles, missiles, and related component systems, applying engineering principles and techniques. Requirements
A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college
or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
Requires knowledge of principles and practices of mechanical engineering,
electrical engineering, or systems engineering.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: SECRET clearance access is required for all personnel supporting this PWS. All individual contractors must be able to maintain a fully adjudicated SECRET clearance.
Applicants may be subject to a pre-employment drug & alcohol screening and/or random drug screen, and must follow UIC’s Non-DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program requirements. If the position requires, an applicant must pass a pre-employment criminal background history check. Where driving may be required or where a rental car must be obtained for business travel purposes, applicants must have a valid driver license for this position and will be subject to verification.
