The Tesla Manufacturing Training Team is looking for a motivated and energetic Interactive Multimedia Developer who wants to put their skills to use in accelerating the world’s transition to renewable energy. This position will be working with the Learning and Development Team and subject matter experts throughout all areas of the Manufacturing line to create multimedia solutions for training gaps aligned with ADDIE Model. You will be expected to challenge and to be challenged, to create, and to innovate. These jobs are not for everyone, you must have a genuine passion for producing the best vehicles in the world.   • Work with stakeholders and development team to understand requirements
  • Analyze and recommend appropriate equipment and software to achieve clients’ training objectives
  • Design Story boards, shoot video & audio, and edit consistent with adult learning styles
  • Drive and maintain library of training videos, audio, and animations accessible to internal customers
  • Set up and shoot video both in house and on location depending on subject
  • Manage media content for training programs, processes are developed, assessed, communicated, and administered in compliance with Tesla’s objectives
  • Prepare digital graphics, animations, sound, video, photographs and images for editing
  • Suggest new innovative ways of using multimedia in the classroom, online, and gamification
  • Provide creative solutions to challenges with Learning and Development methodologies
  • Knowledgeable about the production lines and partner with Subject Matter Experts to ensure training content is consistent with processes


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, with strong academic record
  • Minimum 5 + years of experience in professional video recording and editing
  • Be able to provide a portfolio of previous Learning and Development projects
  • Be able to collaborate effectively on a team and be willing to explore all options
  • Strong editorial knowledge and ability to self-edit and proofread training content
  • Professional demeanor, strong communication, writing and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to manage projects and ability to work within strict guidelines and deadlines
  • High level of proficiency in both written and spoken English
  • High proficiency in Adobe Software: Photoshop, Premiere, Final Cut or other non-linear video editing software
  • Experience with Audition, After Effects, Adobe Lightroom, Captivate, Storyline is a huge plus
  • Experience working in the automotive or similar field highly desired
