Position: Summer Intern – City Music Representative

INTERN – City Representative (Radio Programming)
**This internship can be completed remotely. Applicants are not required to live in Atlanta or *New York* and may be eligible for full credit with the BossFM Digital Internship**
Duties: Works with Channel Managers and Program Management to understand local programming. Student is trained in metric management, rating management, station management and personnel management. Students are first-line of communication for artists interested in network communication and local representation for national digital brand. Students act in a liaison capacity with local universities and event requests. Lead City Representatives may act in leadership capacity as directed by Program Management Team.
Summer City Reps will have the exclusive opportunity to continue as Lead City Reps for up to 1 year after the completion of the summer program.
Have a genuine interest in media/new media and the growing digital entertainment industry. A great sense of humor works too. Students who are have graduated from high school and are planning to or currently attending an accredited college are eligible. Students majoring in journalism, broadcasting or communications are preferred; other majors will be considered. Participants must have good computer skills, excellent written and verbal communication abilities and knowledge of current events. Applicants must be able to meet the minimum time commitment. Though this internship is REMOTE, students must be centrally location (or metro-area) to one of the following cities: ATLANTA, GA / MIAMI, FL / CHARLOTTE, NC / BIRMINGHAM, AL / MONTGOMERY, AL / NASHVILLE, TN / WASHINGTON, DC / NEW ORLEANS, LA / BALTIMORE, MD / NEW YORK, NY / CHICAGO, IL / ST. LOUIS, MO / CLEVELAND, OH / MINNEAPOLIS, MN / LOUISVILLE, KY / DALLAS, TX / HOUSTON, TX
Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. Students will gain valuable information and experience in the radio industry. Students will be eligible to receive applicable college course credit. Students may also receive industry access and privileged admission to events, equal to no monumental value.
