Ryan Salazar is the Editor-In-Chief, Publisher and Founder of Broadcast Beat Magazine. Ryan previously wrote for Broadcast Engineering Magazine and Creative COW. He has worked in broadcast and post production since the age of twelve and has a true passion for production toys! Ryan is also the Executive Producer of NAB Show LIVE and has worked closely with the NAB organization for about five years.

Curtis is the Senior Editor for Broadcast Beat, serves on the SMPTE editorial board, and is a regularly featured Contributing Editor for many US and international trade publications for over 30 years. In addition to being a serial entrepreneur, business executive, and philanthropist – he is also the Founder and Managing Partner of COGNITIVE IMPACT and President and CEO of CHAN & ASSOCIATES, two high-tech brand marketing, and public relations firms focusing in the M&E and IT markets for over two decades. Now also a market and technology consultant, Curtis played key roles early on in helping to usher in both digital audio and digital video technologies for the recording, broadcast and film industries.

Liz has been in the broadcast and digital TV production space for over twenty years and she can manage LIVE broadcast productions in her sleep! Liz is responsible for making sure our LIVE shows run on-time and as planned! The TV and digital diva has produced television for networks and companies including Disney, CBS, FOX, Hearst, PBS, America's Voice, RFD-TV, America's Health Network, Dillard's, Lancome, Royal Caribbean, Crayola, Fisher Price, Coppola Wines and Caymus Vineyards. As founder of OceansTV -- she has even managed TV broadcasting at sea! Based in Nashville, Motley Media provides celebrity public relations, digital video and social media strategy. From rock stars to really big sports stars & news -- Liz covers it all!
Janet West
Janet’s career has turned a full circle from environmental science to broadcast technology and back to the environment bringing an extensive international business career in marketing, management in the private and public sectors in the fields of television and film, communications and environmental consulting/lecturing and research. With a solid academic background with Master’s in Environmental Chemistry and Environmental Strategy and practical experience, Janet offers a visionary view to sustainability in business. With over twenty five years in broadcasting she has seen the phenomenal changes the industry has experienced and is working to increase awareness of the impact of all these changes. Most recently Janet has worked at BBC R&D, been a Pioneer in Practice with the EU funded Climate KIC program working with the University of Warwick on carbon foot-printing IT services and University of Bologna on developing a communications strategy for sustainability of the connected world and is active with local councils on a variety of topics from LED lighting to sustainable buildings. Janet’s research interest is in the environmental impact of the connected world and she is often asked to speak at conferences and corporate events. Janet has been working with Broadcast Beat for two years interviewing clients on their technological innovations and chairing panels on live TV.
Jeff Adams
Jeff Adams is an individual who has devoted the last 24 years of his life to Entertainment Industry, and the last 8 years to internet broadcasting. He has developed a broad base of knowledge in video and Audio streaming .He has hosted The Jeff Adams Show for the last three years. The show is a Creative Tech Comedy show. The Theme of the show is “What Technology do you use to be Creative” The show is geared to Broadcasters, podcasters and streaming Entertainers.
Nikki Broeckelmann
Nikki Brockelmann.....what can we say. She's crazy. Crazy in a good way and everyone loves chatting with her on-camera! Nikki loves to talk about augmented and virtual reality technology and she's all about the spotlight!
Jaimi Alexander
Jaimi Alexander is a Los Angeles-based actress, a spokes-model, an entrepreneur and a producer. With credits in film, television, web video and radio, her true passion is connecting people within this ‘community of fearless creation.’ Devoted to her craft, her personality, charm and enthusiasm is contagious. Her on-camera presence lures audiences in. This down to earth aura comes from her ability to draw interviewees out by engaging them in genuine conversation. She’s hosted many red carpet events for award shows including the Diversity Awards and the Soul Train Awards. She continues to host events in Los Angeles and New York City, two of Jaimi’s favorite hot spots.
Pamela Kleibrink Thompson
Having held almost every job in the entertainment industry, Pamela Kleibrink Thompson is uniquely qualified as a career coach, independent recruiter, and management consultant. Her column "The Career Coach" is on Animation World Network She is an internationally known speaker and has presented at conferences from Germany to Boston to San Diego. She has written and produced training films for AT&T and IBM, and her articles on careers and management have appeared in over 100 publications including Broadcast Beat. Thompson has spoken at numerous conferences, seminars and colleges. She is currently the studio representative for the multimedia studio at JUMP.
Norman Berns
Norman C. Berns has a 40 year history of producing award-winning productions and ground breaking commercials. He recently completed work with Miami PD’s SWAT unit for French TV’s “The Insider”. He previously produced and directed the three-part PBS series on the history of writing, “The Writing Code” and won an Emmy for his “intermission features” created for the Metropolitan Opera. He was line producer on television’s first super-gritty, almost-reality cop show, The Street, for Universal and the CBS series, Wish You Were Here. He is owner of Yahoo’s only Budgeting Group and LinkedIn’s 200,000 member Film and Television Professionals. Norman is a member of DGA, SAG and AEA.

Highly organized and deadline oriented, Erica coordinates the timely completion of our digital magazine from start to finish making sure our publication is the best of the best. She manages our Support Department aiding public relations firms and clients in the navigation of our custom Broadcast Beat Public Relations Center ensuring a smooth experience and fantastic working relationship with Broadcast Beat Magazine.

Larry Becker
Reporting on and teaching technology since the 90s, Larry Becker is one of the most trusted technology expert reviewers in the field of photography and video today. Larry has covered the NAB Show, as well as other industry trade shows, with floor interviews, he's been a consulting advisor to the world's leading tech companies regarding their video communications and his reviews have guided thousands of purchase decisions. Larry has written and been the on camera talent in pro training videos from Canon USA, B&H Photo, Sony, and Kelby One. While Larry serves a host of national clients with technology based training and review videos, his direct audience learns simple video production via Larry’s online classes for small business in-house DIY video production. In that role Larry also coaches entrepreneurs and CEOs regarding their on-camera presence and web based video communications.
Brian Seth Hurst
Brian Seth Hurst is regarded internationally as an expert on the strategy, construction, business modeling and maintenance of storyworlds for storytellers, franchises, technology companies and brands and the evolving conversation/collaboration between the storyteller and the audience. Highly committed to the informed collaboration between storytellers and technologists he is regarded as a subject matter expert in the burgeoning field of Virtual Reality. Brian has been key strategist for innovation by some of the world’s best-known brands including TVGuide, Showtime, TiVo, Virgin America, BT, NBCUniversal, Endemol, SVT(Sweden) and Intel. Hurst is currently an executive producer on Tim Kring’s award winning multiplatform property “Conspiracy for Good” for which he created the terms “Social Benefit Storytelling” and “Social Benefit Marketing” to describe this new entertainment genre and the project’s impact. He is also creator and executive producer of “DetermiNATION2016,” a new project from Bunim/Murray. Hurst is also the author of the best selling children’s book “A Pig Tale” written with Olivia-Newton John and “WHOLE” a collection of essays on life’s challenges.

Kate's experience is very well-rounded in the entertainment industry as she has worked in radio, television and the silver screen. The 2016 NAB Show will be Kate's third year working for Broadcast Beat Magazine during the duration of the NAB Show. Kate keeps our massive social media audience informed and up-to-date with the most exciting NAB and Broadcast Beat happenings. In addition to social media she has also had a hand in working with the film crew and production. Kate currently resides in Las Vegas.

Trevor has been working with Broadcast Beat’s production staff since the 2014 NAB Show. He’s worked both behind-the-scenes with our editors, as well as on the show floor with camera crews. He has a great eye for composition and content, which always keeps our social media content interesting. Trevor resides in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Nick Wracan
Nick Wracan is a creative media professional, with a Bachelor's Degree in New Media.  He is well-skilled in production techniques and is highly familiar with the newest technology used in the media industry today. His specific talent involves post-production in digital filmmaking, and he has performed various functions in in both production and post-production sections in digital filmmaking, including line producing, editing, and after effects.  Nick currently resides in Michigan.
