We’ve made it to “Day Three” – over the hump, as they say! Some will liken it to being “downhill from here” but I say that it’s just getting closer to the big finale! I don’t know about you, but I’m heading over to the Teradek studio to watch our own Debra Kaufman on “Live @ NAB” from 9:00am this morning for the next hour! So, won’t be much blogging during that time – I suggest that you high-tail it over there, too – Booth #C8218 or, to find out more about Teradek, go to: www.teradek.com.
Here are the two shows you missed – from Monday & Tuesday! Check them out – they are BEYOND great!!!

Is the the BEST way for a cameraman to get that perfect shot? 4 out of 5 think so! From a subtle perspective change to a dramatic traveling shot, Steadicam Segway is there for you! Entirely fluid in its movement, the control-stick module is located between the knees, freeing the rider’s arms to operate camera stabilization systems while the camera stays securely mounted on the handlebars. The narrow i2 wheels helps the overall height from the ground be as low as it can be, to maximize stabilizer boom-range. This entirely redesigned Steadicam Segway is custom-engineered specifically for improved ergonomics and safety. For more information, click HERE.

The benchmark for broadcast facilities across the world, Calrec has been held in the highest regard throughout the professional broadcast community since 1971, when Calrec Audio started manufacturing high quality production and live to air audio mixing consoles. Well, Day Three of the 2014 NAB Show has come to a close… it’s time for me to stretch-out, find a party and relax! Tomorrow comes early, but I just can’t wait – very few parties on the last day, so this is the best time to get a good party in! I hope you have been using the Broadcast Beat Party List to find your evening gatherings, because it really helps you to plan for optimum party attendance! Time to kick-off my work shoes and slip into my party kicks for the night! Hopefully, our paths will cross tonight – and until tomorrow, remember to read my feed and stay blogged-in!
