TODAY is the SECOND day of The 2015 NAB Show – and what can I say? Broadcast Beat had an OUTSTANDING coverage day of the Show yesterday, and it’s going to be even BIGGER and BETTER today! We maintained a constant LIVE FEED while at the show, thanks to the TVUPack and Wowza – both extremely instrumental in allowing us to get the word out about the Show and all the products appearing there!
Here we are – getting ready for DAY 2 – everybody is bright-eyed and bushy-tailed… all four crews have checked-in and we’re ready to roll!
It’s another beautiful day here in Las Vegas Nevada and I’m glad that I ordered the gorgeous weather!

Jeff of The Jeff Adams Show is talking to Dave Stubenvoll from Wowza… founded in 2005 by David Stubenvoll and Charlie Good, Wowza started as a bootstrap start-up, focused on one goal— simplify media streaming and make it better. Originally, Dave and Charlie were going down a different product path — video blogging. However, they discovered there wasn’t any server software that they were comfortable building a business upon. Since they couldn’t find any media delivery solutions that met their needs, they decided to build their own. Today, Fortune 100 companies, small and mid-sized businesses, leading Content Delivery Networks (CDNs), educational institutions, and government entities in more than 150 countries depend on award-winning Wowza software to build, deploy, and manage streaming solutions for the delivery of engaging live or on-demand content in the highest possible quality.

Hello Dolly! I’m is playing with some Shotoku camera arms! One of the best things at the shows is being able to put your hands on the equipment. All of the equipment at the show is high-end and many people, including myself, would ordinarily not have access to all this great stuff. Of the tens of thousands of people that will attend NAB, only a few dozen will really have the opportunity to get seated in and mess around with this equipment. I’m glad I’m one of them! And now, after handling all that grip equipment, I’ve worked-up an appetite…
I think I’ll check out Original Nathan’s Hot Dogs to see what noontime fare I can dig up! Last year, there were over 435 million Nathan’s Famous Hot Dogs sold! Today, Nathan’s is sold and enjoyed in all 50 States and sold at over 40,000 food service and retail outlets. And, lest we forget, at the 2015 #NABShow! Hmmm… perhaps I should give-up Broadcast Beat and go to work at Nathan’s! LOL Then again, I really ROCK this green uniform! Maybe I will… 🙂
