The Cloud Revolution: Taking Media Operations to New Heights will discuss key topics such as: Ingress/egress & migration strategies, media storage approaches, metadata management, content and data analytics, leveraging artificial intelligence, business intelligence, cloud provisioning, workflow automation, infrastructure and user access in the cloud.

Justin Justman, Senior Principle Architect, SinclairDigital: As a Senior Principal Architect at SinclairDigital, Jason is focused on developing next-generation cloud-based solutions for converged OTT, Digital and Broadcast systems. Jason has helped deliver ground breaking innovative high quality, end-to-end software and hardware systems for Disney, Toyota, Lexus, Accenture, and Fiat. Jason is a graduate of Michigan State University with a B.S. in Computer Science and B.A. in Telecommunications.

Brinton Miller, SVP Technology Strategy & Architecture: As Senior Vice President, Technology Strategy & Architecture, Brinton is responsible for evaluating the dynamic technology landscape across both media and traditional corporate IT, identifying opportunities to engage emerging technologies and develop forward-thinking strategies. With a focus on cloud-based solutions and virtualized infrastructures, he oversees the company’s Global Media Engineering and IT Development teams.

 

Martin Wahl, Microsoft Azure: Martin Wahl is Principal Program Manager in Microsoft’s Azure Media Services product engineering group. Martin focuses on technical evangelism and global customer & partner engagement for driving live broadcast, premium on-demand video streaming and video AI solutions developed and running from the Azure cloud. He is a regular speaker at media industry conferences including NAB, SMPTE, MESA and IBC.

This power session will inspire and allow for a better understanding of how to take control of the cloud for successfully moving operations to a higher level of flexibility, agility and accessibility-with realizing the operational benefits associated with the cloud revolution.
