SipRadius extends its seamless creation and connectivity by launching a stunning AI media platform

SipRadius, widely recognized for making content processing and connectivity secure and seamless, is proud to launch a dramatic new approach to AI content creation with Ferox Films.

Developed in partnership with a veteran film editor and creator, Ferox Films is an aggregation platform, bringing together current AI engines and more than 200 creation tools into a single, logical user interface. The creator simply decides what tasks are needed for the project – avatars, voices, locations, storyboarding, action – and the platform guides the user to the most appropriate tools to achieve the perfect results, using whatever inputs, including voice, that feels most comfortable.

Ferox Films allows the user to select premium, standard or draft outputs for speed and quality. It also gives the user visibility of the AI hosts for each tool, allowing the creator to make informed judgements about the commercial and sustainability aspects of the project. As an abstraction layer, it is completely agnostic to AI engines from around the world.

“At SipRadius, our energies are currently focused on giving media professionals the freedom to do what they do best,” said Sergio Ammirata, Ph.D. Chief Scientist, SipRadius. “We are doing this alongside our SipMX initiative for media orchestration and multi-protocol interoperability. By developing our own OS to deliver high performance and extremely hardened security, we are offering this fresh approach to AI content creation.”

Like all SipRadius software solutions, Ferox Films allows the user to determine where the engine and projects are managed and stored: in a private cloud or on premises. Hosting content and instructions on the user’s hardware makes it simple to control security and address copyright issues.

The new platform will be unveiled at BroadcastAsia alongside the latest developments in SipMX, the platform for connectivity built on open standards. For the first time, media facilities and installations running SMPTE ST2110, IPMX, NDI and Dante/AES67 can be discovered, routed and managed through a common platform, eliminating boundaries and making IP connectivity truly seamless.

“This is a critical time for our industry,” Ammirata added. “Raw technology is advancing at an incredible rate, but at the same time there are geopolitical issues, particularly in hardware supply. If you are a creative professional, you just want to know how best to make your content, and how to get it to your audiences.

“At SipRadius, we understand the technical challenges and are doing all we can to mitigate them, for example by developing software products that run on hardware you already have, or on specialist hardware like the RGBLink platform,” Ammirata continued. “Our software environment makes it simple and easy to get to the tools you need, knowing that you are getting the best performance and, most important, the tightest possible security, all in a simple, seamless, intuitive package.”
