Amagi, a cloud-based SaaS technology solutions provider for broadcast and streaming TV, demonstrated the latest advancements in its product lineup at its annual FAST Conference in Los Angeles. The showcase included significant enhancements to Amagi NOW, its unified, cloud-native “industry cloud” platform, now featuring Amagi Intelligence, a proprietary AI layer designed to leverage predictive analytics, machine-learning algorithms. Amagi Intelligence also ingests historical viewership, contextual metadata, real-time audience behavior and monetization performance data and converts them into actionable recommendations with the aim to enhance operational efficiency, audience reach and monetization yield.
Today, media companies grapple with fragmented tools, repetitive operations, and rising costs while striving to deliver real-time experiences across multiple platforms.
Richard Perkett, Chief Product Officer at Amagi, said: “The Amagi NOW unified media platform continues to evolve, adding capabilities that span the Linear and VOD workflow spectrum. With Amagi Intelligence, we are replacing fragmented AI tools with a single, media-first platform that integrates intelligence, reasoning, and execution.”
In addition to Amagi NOW, the company unveiled several other product advancements at the conference:
- Amagi ON DEMAND: Amagi ON DEMAND enables media companies to manage and deliver on-demand content for AVOD, SVOD, and TVOD platforms. It simplifies preparation and distribution workflows, supports quality control, and ensures platform compliance. It enables rights-based sharing, metadata customization, and simplified onboarding to FAST and OTT services. Amagi CONNECT accelerates global distribution, increases audience reach, and reduces the complexity of multi-platform delivery. Through Amagi CONNECT, customers can syndicate channels and content to global FAST and OTT platforms as well as linear distribution partners; package, promote and manage content rights across platforms; monetize their content through target ad-insertion services; leverage our centralized ad inventory management and ad yield optimization capabilities; and drive content to new audiences through intelligent targeting and demand-side advertising network integration.
