Anevia establishes new office to serve APAC and India


Paris, France – Anevia, a leader in video streaming and infrastructure solutions for OTT, live TV and video-on-demand, announces the establishment of a new office to promote the company’s activity in south east Asia.

Located in Singapore, Anevia APAC is managed by Karlton Burn, Vice President, Asia Pacific & India, who joined the company recently with long experience of the broadcast and telecommunication business.

“We are seeing a lot of interest in convergence technologies throughout the APAC area,”KarltonBurn comments. “Anevia offers an excellent range of OTT, video streaming and video-on-demand products, all designed for easy integration into existing broadcast and telco infrastructure. My role is to expand our customer base and develop the company’s visibility in the APAC and Indian markets. This will include explaining in detail the business opportunities underpinning such acronyms as CDN and OTT, and how Anevia products can be deployed by broadcasters, telecommunication service-providers and within the various sectors of the hospitality market to generate revenue.”

Karlton Burn has long specialised in promoting high-technology companies in the Asia-Pacific region. He commenced his broadcast industry career at Tyne Video in 1982, rising from graduate entrant to General Manager within six years. In 1988 he joined Snell & Wilcox where he became Director of Sales, progressing in 1996 to Leitch Corporation as Managing Director – APAC. Subsequent roles have included Chief Executive Officer of Beijing-based Dayang, VP of Global Sales & Marketing for QuStream Corporation, General Manager Sales-APAC for Grass Valley and latterly Managing Director – APAC of International Datacasting Pte in Singapore.
