Apantac Launches KVM over IP and KVM for UHD Solutions at InfoComm 2018

Apantac, an internationally recognized manufacturer and pioneer of cost-effective yet feature-rich multiviewers, video walls, extension and signal processing solutions expands its KVM line of products & solutions, which it will showcase at the upcoming InfoComm 2018, booth N546.

KVM over IP Extender/Receiver Sets A new KVM over IP extender/receiver set (Model: KVM-IP-Tx/Rx) is ideal for applications where multiple local computers need to be accessed from multiple remote locations. This new KVM solution can extend HDMI, DVI or analog VGA signals over CATx for point-to-point distribution up to 170 meters, and up to 100 meters when using a GigE switch.

A second KVM over IP extender/receiver set (Model: KVM-2-IP-Tx/Rx) is a dual-head KVM extension solution for transmitting HDMI, DVI, VGA, and USB keyboard and mouse over an IP LAN.

The KVM over IP Extenders are placed at the user-station or computer, and the receivers sit with the remote user station with associated control devices such as the keyboard, mouse, touch-screen, or other USB device. This solution allows users to extend KVM signals over long distances, providing them access to control room equipment and remote equipment, increasing operational efficiencies and productivity.

KVM Switches An eight input KM (keyboard, mouse) switch (Model: KM-8-UHD) provides a solution for switching signals seamlessly across eight computers. This combines eight independent desktops into a single and expanded virtual desktop with individual displays and provides easy control of multiple PCs and servers from a single keyboard, mouse and monitor.

An eight input HDMI 2.0 / UHD KVM Switch with a single console (Model: KVM-8-UHD) is designed to switch eight HDMI 2.0 signals for UHD applications and can be switched and controlled across eight computers / servers.

Multiviewers with KVM functions The TAHOMA UE Series provides models (Models: UE-4-K / UE-8-K) that offer KVM support. accepts four or eight HDMI 2.0 inputs, delivers 1 or 2 HDMI and 12G outputs and multiple units can be cascaded together to expand the I/O.

Previously debuted, the HDMI 2.0 UHD Multiviewer with KVM (Model: MiniDE-4-UHD-K) is ideal for displaying up to four sources on a single UHD monitor or projector. The added benefit is that users can mix input resolutions and sources all the way up to 4K on a single display.

This new line-up complements Apantac’s existing line of KVM solutions, which includes KVM switches and KVM extender / receiver sets for extending VGA, PS2, USB, HDMI / DVI-D KVM signals over single CATx cables.
