Job Opening: Architectural Project Captain

Position: Architectural Project Captain

Location: Dallas TX US

Team player with good technical skills, and a focus on particular aspects of a project. Has general knowledge and understanding of project development process. Produces contract documents conforming to building codes and zoning regulations, works with engineering consultants, checks shop drawings and may conduct site visits, and assists Project Architect as needed. Is able to work well with minimal direction and supervision. Reports to the Project Leader or Project Manager.

Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture

8-10 years of experience in commercial (retail/mixed-use) or multi-family housing projects

Licensure in Architecture, preferred

Good working knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations and approval process.

Good understanding and knowledge of building systems and site requirements (Structural, MEP, Civil and Geo-Tech)

Highly organized, detail-driven and conscientious

Proficient in current version of Revit, AutoCAD, 3D Studio or Form-Z, Photoshop, PowerPoint, MS Word and MS Excel
