WDJT-TV, Weigel Broadcasting’s CBS affiliate in Milwaukee Wisconsin, is searching for an Assignment Desk/Web Editor. Looking for an assertive newsroom professional with strong news judgment and the ability to generate and determine engaging and relevant editorial content. Successful candidate must have prior newsroom experience, be extremely organized with an aptitude for logistics and have the proven ability to excel in a fast-paced competitive newsroom. Must monitor scanner traffic, manage daily assignments and effectively communicate coverage plans to newsroom staff. This role will also research and create digital content for all platforms and contribute to editorial meetings.
