SEATTLE – December 1, 2025 – Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS), an Amazon.com, Inc. company (NASDAQ: AMZN), today announced that all five keynotes at AWS re:Invent 2025 will be streamed live for the first time in Fortnite via a new island published by AWS. The “AWS re:Invent Keynote Racer” island will be playable in Fortnite using the following island code: 1118-6794-4236.
Players can watch the live keynote presentations at the following times in the island:
- December 2, 8:00-10:30am PT: AWS re:Invent opening keynote with Matt Garman, AWS CEO
- December 3, 8:30-10:30am PT: The Future of Agentic AI is Here
- December 3, 3:00-4:30pm PT: The Partnership Advantage
- December 4, 9:00-10:30am PT: Infrastructure Innovations
- December 4, 3:30-4:30pm PT: A Special Closing Keynote with Dr. Werner Vogels
Developed in collaboration with AWS Partner, EPAM, a leading digital and AI transformation services company, Blast.tv, and 404 Creative using Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN), the island includes a trackside lounge inspired by AWS re:Invent, AWS’s largest annual conference where the global cloud community gathers for a week of learning, networking and demonstrating cutting-edge technologies. Players can watch the keynote in the lounge or while driving on a Las Vegas themed racetrack that features the live keynotes playing on billboards throughout the track.
The livestream in the “AWS re:Invent Keynote Racer” island is powered by AWS Media Services, a set of digital tools for digital content creation and building video workflows that are both live and on-demand. Epic Games broadly adopted AWS in 2018 and leverages AWS global infrastructure to bring Fortnite to hundreds of millions of players across the globe.
The island will also feature information on how game developers can leverage the full power of Amazon to reach and engage players at every touchpoint. This includes Amazon Luna for streaming, Amazon.com for retail, Amazon Ads for amplification, the Internet Game Database (IGDB) for gaming data, and Twitch for community. Players can learn more about how these businesses, AWS, and EPAM support game developers in the in-game lounge.
The “AWS re:Invent Keynote Racer” island will also be on display at AWS re:Invent in Las Vegas. At the AWS Industries Pavilion in The Venetian Expo – Level 2, Hall B – attendees can learn more about the AWS services powering the livestream and Fortnite, how game developers can work with multiple Amazon businesses, and how the AWS Marketing team used Amazon Nova Canvas to create concept art that inspired the island’s design. No generative AI tools were used to create the island.
In addition to Fortnite, the AWS re:Invent keynotes will be available to view on the AWS re:Invent website, YouTube, and Twitch. View more information on the opening keynote and AWS re:Invent 2025, here.
