For the next edition of its successful Broadcast Innovation Days event series, the German systems integrator Broadcast Solutions GmbH will join forces with SVG Europe to present the latest innovations in the business of live TV production. The one-day event again takes place at the company’s headquarters in Bingen, Germany on June 1, and will comprise an exhibition area, panel discussions, lectures and several OB vans under construction.

During the event, visitors will have the chance to see the largest fleet of OB vans in production in Europe. The impressive sight in the construction hall of the Broadcast Solutions headquarters will be accompanied by an exhibition area incorporating major brands from the broadcast industry, showcasing their latest products and solutions.

In cooperation Broadcast Solutions and SVG Europe will jointly host a number of panel discussions and lectures focusing on the latest technical innovations and their implications for the business of live TV production.

Topics to be addressed include: the current outlook for new technologies like HDR / HFR, 12G, network connectivity and IP, and how they affect the business of broadcasting; and how newly established distribution models change the business of live production.

The full programme with lectures, panellists and time schedules, as well as details of all exhibitors, will be announced soon on the Broadcast Innovation Days website at www.broadcast-innovation-days.com, although it is already possible to register for the event at this site. Access to the Broadcast Innovation Day in Bingen will be granted only with registration.

“The Broadcast Innovation Days event series have become an important part of the industry calendar, providing an invaluable opportunity to gain insight into the evolution of OB and broadcast centre design. As UHD, IP and other technologies usher in a remarkable era of change, we are delighted to be collaborating with Broadcast Solutions on its next event in Bingen,” says SVG Europe Editor David Davies.

“With our Broadcast Innovation Days, we always strive to inform visitors about the latest trends in the broadcast business and give a fresh impetus to the industry. The number of events already hosted and their acceptance within the industry proofs to us that we have succeeded in establishing a sure mark in the calendar of broadcast events,” adds Stefan Breder, CEO at Broadcast Solutions.
