From Popular Photography, the 16-35mm f/4L EF IS USM lens took home the 2014 Pop Award for Photography’s Outstanding Products of the year. Wow, so looking at it from a business standpoint, there really is no better award or accolade then one given by the consumer!

Another noteworthy cause is one for the environment and being environmentally sound. Canon’s commitment to decreasing its carbon footprint, its 114,000 square-foot expansion of its distribution center in Norcross, GA., was awarded the LEED® v4 certification in the “Building Design and Construction – Warehouses and Distribution Centers” category in September 2014. This facility is used to store inventory and fulfill orders placed in the U.S., and is the first warehouse to receive this new version of LEED.
