The production manager will be responsible for making sure creative materials are produced on time and on budget. The production manager will be expected to work in close collaboration with designers, writers and illustrators and work with partners (marketing, PR, consumer products, digital, sales, legal and standard & practices) to communicate status and progress of jobs. The production manager will report to the production director but is charged with working independently and must be able to work strategically. He/she will also be expected to develop strong, positive working relationships with his/her counterparts in other departments. The production manager will also oversee outside vendors and freelancers. This position requires 3-6 years of project manager experience in on-air and off-channel production. This includes producing on-air spots and shoots, print, digital, events, photo shoots and premiums. Knowledge of on-air pre and post-production and printing is required.
Three – six years of project management experience
Must be Mac proficient
Strong organizational, time and project management skills
Exceptional interpersonal communication winner
Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite helpful
