The Universal City Broadcast Center (UCBC) is NBCUniversal‘s operational hub for West Coast television operations. The facility is a production and broadcast center supporting NBC News, NBC and Telemundo owned television stations, and a variety of production units operating on the Universal Lot. Operating 24×7, UCBC provides critical infrastructure and technical support for news gathering, live-to-air production, transmission, and other functions essential to the company’s television operations.
Live broadcast production on the Universal lot is growing with Chelsea Lately, Hello Ross, and Access Hollywood.
The Vice President of Broadcast Operations will oversee day-to-day broadcast operations for the UCBC and other live production facilities on the lot, managing operations and engineering teams in support of 24×7 operations. As a member of the NBCU Operations & Technical Services team, this position is responsible for ensuring the highest quality service to NBCU divisional clients, providing highly responsive technical services and engineering support in a dynamic -on air- environment.
