Works with Associate Producer and Producer to develop production quota schedules and budgets.
Creates weekly cost reports, employee staffing profiles and estimated final cost changes.
Approves all payments and employee status information.
Works closely with HR to ensure smooth transfer, hiring and terminations of employees.
Supervises and mentors Assistant Production Accounting staff on studio policy and procedures and union payroll rules.
Works with Associate Producer to strategically plan efficient use of labor resources to crew the show with cost efficient and highly productive teams, which includes analyzing gap, training, development and production man-weeks.
Attends Executive Show Update and is responsible for providing financial flash report and overage requests to production and studio leadership.
Attends Transition Meetings to inform HR and other production leadership of staffing changes (i.e., end dates, transfer dates, loa).
Qualifications
Business or Accounting degree preferred.
Project/Production based accounting experience a must.
Proficiency with Excel required. Experience with Vista preferred.
