The Media & Digital Department of Lincoln Center works to bring the world class performance and artistic activity taking place in our venues to wider audiences across the country and the globe through distribution on a variety of platforms. Our signature, award-winning television series, Live From Lincoln Center, brings live performances of drama, music, dance and opera to approximately 20 million television screens across the country every year. Lincoln Center Media & Digital is seeking a Production Coordinator to support several areas of the department, aiding in various tasks as needed including all facets of video production coordination; footage, photo and music research/licensing; and other general administrative and support tasks. The role is primarily office-based, but will require on location presence, as needed.
Responsibilities include:
– Schedule and book personnel, crew, locations and artists for video shoots
– Scout locations for video shoots and liaise with venue personnel
– Create, manage and distribute production schedules/call sheets to producers, crew, artists and other departments as needed
– Coordinate all crew members, including gathering of necessary paperwork
– Code and file invoices
– File and store all relevant materials in a secure and organized manner to be easily accessed by other members of production
– Secure necessary elements, graphics, audio splits and paper deliverables vital to the successful capture and distribution of projects
– Work with Producers and Associate Producers to ensure all materials needed for projects are available and accessible
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
– BA or equivalent factual television/video work experience
– Must have a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Must have a strong working knowledge of Final Cut Pro, file conversion and DVD creation
– Candidate must be well organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, resourceful and able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment and juggle multiple projects at same time
– Excellent verbal and written communications skills along with excellent interpersonal skills
