Duties will include but not be limited to:
General office administrative and production support, depending upon skill set
Data entry, record keeping and database maintenance.
Shipment and tracking of DCP’s and KDM’s to theaters
Scheduling and tracking of FedEx, UPS and other common courier service deliveries
Demonstrated security awareness and attention to the management of confidential information
Customer service oriented follow up with clients to ensure delivery and playability of materials delivered
Preparation and packing of DCP’s and film reels to ship to IMAX theater network
Special projects as required
Assist with DCP duplication, verification and QC
Drive company van to pick up and/or deliver items, as requested
Required Skills
QUALIFICATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of two years of post-secondary education and, preferably, experience in a related field.
Knowledge of the typical digital cinema mastering, film post production workflow very advantageous
A high level of attention to detail is required
Proactive initiative to go the extra mile at high quality standards
May work under direct supervision or independently
Excellent communication skills, moderate to high level Excel skills as well as experience with data entry and database management
Linux, Unix, Python or PHP ability a plus
Fluency in other languages an asset to assist with International customer service
Long hours, some late evening work and weekend work is expected to support the IMAX global theater network
Clean driver license valid in California
