Do you love to write stories for television news? Do you have a passion for breaking news? If so, we may have the entry level job for you. KOVR is looking for a Production Assistant to assist in writing scripts, running teleprompter, checking graphics, and helping producers with other duties to get our daily and nightly newscasts on the air. Good writing skills, multi-tasking, and attention to detail are a must. Hours vary depending on shift.
Required Qualifications
Must be able to handle multiple tasks at once and pay close attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Good writing a plus; television journalism courses preferred; knowledge of iNews
