Editorial Production Manager

Assist with follow up on Daily Plan by requesting signoffs needed from editors, research or copy, help move art checks through approval process and troubleshoot problems that hold up production by working with art, edit, photo, research and copy departments
Create dossiers for all stories in each issue, check Woodwing for proper naming conventions for layouts and text files
Track stories through each stage of the production process via creating and updating masterwork of all stories for each issue. Add all Mockup changes. Re order if needed.
Maintain production area of Intranet by posting all masterworks daily and mockups weekly and updating other information as needed
Traffic all graphics between editorial and imaging departments, checking for quality, coordinating all image retouch requests, tracking all images, ensuring all hi res film comes in in a timely manner
Traffic final edit pages to Imaging department including revises as needed
Make all folio changes and double check all page references prior to transmit
Maintain Hi Res server, create cover story folders
Assist in -post-production- process by looking and marking up color and moving irises between copy, art and imaging and tracking all signoffs on final text and color and sending text ready email to tablet team
Create, update and distribute yearly department, non-department and package schedules and On Sale and Transmit dates documents
