WWHB-TV, West Palm Beach’s Azteca America network affiliate, is looking for a talented and versatile Production Assistant to join our team. You must be able to shoot, edit and write in Spanish as well as English. Fluency in Spanish as well as English is essential.
Qualified candidates should meet the following requirements:
2+ years in TV production, preferably with news and entertainment experience. Ability to shoot, edit and write content in both Spanish and English. Ability to meet deadlines on a daily basis. Experience shooting news and/or other non-scripted content. Experience editing news stories and interviews, Final Cut Pro preferred. You must be able to work flexible hours, including some evening and weekend shifts. You must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record. Must also able to lift and carry cameras, tripods, and other production equipment. Other duties as assigned.
Other useful skills: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe AfterEffects, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
