Coordinator, Release Planning & Production

The Release Planning and Production team at Sony Music Nashville interacts with practically every department within this country music label and with numerous divisions throughout the larger Sony Music family. We’re a team of great people who have learned to adapt and grow in the ever-evolving industry landscape and we’re looking for a project coordinator who has a special blend of skills.

Coordinate promotional album & single production, as well as mobile product releases; provide general administrative support for the Release Planning and Production department
Work with all Sony Music Nashville departments involved in promotional single production (physical & digital), communicating on due dates and work flow in order to meet deadlines
Serve as in-house backup contact for digital delivery systems and coordinate scheduling & delivery of promotional singles via these systems alongside other department members
Schedule solicitation of manufactured full-length promotional product in the company’s global release planning system; send appropriate communication and manage execution of this with internal Supply Chain staff
Schedule mobile products and upload associated artwork into appropriate systems
Check current album inventories; make recommendations to Senior Director on product inventory levels
Assist Release Planning and Production staff in coordinating due dates for effective routing of art files and designs between departments for required approvals
Originate print orders, coordinate receipt of deliveries and route invoices as required
Maintain relationships with internal Supply Chain staff and various vendors
Order CD Booklets as requested by Nashville staff to be delivered in-house
Serve as back-up for Senior Director and Specialist, as needed
