Broadcast Traffic Coordinator

The Broadcast Traffic Coordinator will be responsible for interacting with various internal teams and external vendors to build traffic logs, provide live studio and remote traffic coverage, and troubleshoot issues.

Primary duties include:
– Work internally with the Ad Sales, Programming, Production, Marketing, Promotions & CBS Broadcast departments; and externally with Ad Agencies/Programming Partners to ensure all commercials are scheduled according to Sales contracts and Programming Barter Deals

– Work closely with Sales Planners and account teams to resolve creative issues and recommend commercial placement optimization

– Work to ensure 100% on-time launch and full delivery of commercials so that all contracted revenue and barter potential is fulfilled

– Work with the entire Commercial Operations Team to manage operations in a time sensitive, fast-paced environment

– Coordinate the data entry of commercial instructions/copy from Ad Agencies/Programming Partners into Broadway Commercial Traffic and Scheduling System

– Coordinate the placement of commercial spots and Direct Response to maximize revenue and inventory

– Solicit commercial materials from Ad Agencies/Programming Partners and facilitate delivery to Master Control for ingest

– Placement of commercial components, such as selling titles, day parts, executing manual day of air changes (LIVE)
