-Researching and fact-checking locations in New York and Chicago for potential shoots
-Liaising with public relations and media officials to obtain footage and set up shoots
-Attending and assisting with on-location film shoots
-Transcribing, organizing, and managing footage and other media
-Assisting with creation, packaging and delivery of final product
-Collaborating with production, editing, and marketing team as needed in the production cycle
-Additional tasks as requested by your supervisor
-Very strong organizational skills and attention to detail
-Excellent communication skills – this position entails a lot of emailing and calling and necessitates a professional writing tone and a good phone manner
-Ability to work independently and in a team
-Great research skills
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential; any other relevant media software knowledge (such as Final Cut Pro 7, Photoshop, etc.) is a plus
-Demonstrable interest in the film and media production process – be passionate about your work!
