Executive Assistant, Post Production

Administrative duties include heavy phones, rolling calls, xeroxing, faxing, and filing. Duties also include scheduling meetings, arranging travel, preparing expense reports, ordering video duplications, distributing dailies and cuts, and maintaining the video library for all shows.

Individual will also be responsible for the following: Attending weekly Post Production meetings. Updating crew and talent databases on Vice President’s shows. Tracking episodic run times for the series. Tracking invoices consistent with the payment process of vendors on shows, especially in the areas of music licenses. Aiding with Delivery elements and paper work.

Successful candidate will be a self-starter who takes initiative and is extremely resourceful. Must be able to pay attention to details, and be able to multitask. Must have extensive computer experience. Must be capable of establishing good working relationships with principal players on shows and help navigate through HBO’s corporate procedures.

This individual will interface with staff from other HBO departments such as: creative, production, business affairs, finance, promo, PDPO, and HBO studios East and West. There will also be a considerable amount of coordination with the post staff on our original series. Good communication skills and an approachable, friendly personality needed.
