
CGI, the leading newsroom system provider in Europe, is delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Hasselmann to the role of Product Manager for CGI’s growing OpenMedia portfolio.
Mark will lead the OpenMedia Newsroom Product team in the development and growth of the entire product family, including OpenMedia Infinity, NewsBoard and StudioDirector. As Product Manager, he will have a key focus on cultivating partner integrations and enhancing the core strengths of the product family to continue delivering innovative, reliable, scalable and interactable solutions for existing OpenMedia clients workflows.
Mark brings a wealth of industry experience to the role, having worked in a series of senior strategic and project roles for over 13 years across the news and broadcast production sector, having begun his career as a Producer at RTL’s news studio in Munich and then went on to hold senior roles at PLAZAMEDIA and Red Bull Media House.
Most recently, Mark joined CGI in 2018 as Director of Consulting Services, where he led the Business Consulting and Project Management team in supporting enterprises from different industries, delivering IT programs and transformation initiatives.
