Registration is now open for Cine Gear Connect New York 2026, presented by Universal Production Services. Designed for professional filmmakers and photographers who prize depth over breadth, this intimate one-day gathering will bring together industry creative professionals in Brooklyn, NY for a focused, immersive experience unlike any other.
Held at New York’s media hub, Industry City, the all-inclusive experience promises a day of iconic visual creator presentations, technology previews, continental breakfast, buffet lunch, a stellar networking mixer, and ample opportunities for the meaningful mingling Cine Gear is famous for. Attendance will be capped at 500 guests to create an environment where every conversation, every question, and every connection carries real weight.
The day’s programming features expert panels and presentations sponsored by industry favorites, including The American Society of Cinematographers, whose esteemed member and The School of Visual Arts, NY faculty person, Dejan Georgevich, ASC, will host a panel of colleagues for Cinematographers’ Creative Process – Deconstructing Scenes. Panelists include William Rexer, ASC (“The Testament of Ann Lee”,” Prime”,”The Get Down”), Claudia Raschke, ASC (“RBG”,” Julia”,”Fauci”) and NYFA Instructor, as well as Jeffrey Waldron, ASC (“Daredevil: Born Again”, “The Morning Show”, “English Teacher”) and Vanja Cernjul, ASC (“House of the Dragon”, “Crazy Rich Asians”, “The Gilded Age”).
Also headlining presentations are The International Cinematographers Guild, Universal Production Services, and Inner Circle Distribution for Astera. Renowned optics maker, Zeiss will present storied NY mega-photographer Douglas Dubler on “The Power of the Printed Image.” More session details will be announced soon. In addition, tabletop sponsor displays will offer hands-on access to the latest tools and technology, and as always, networking is built-in throughout the day. Cine Gear Connect doors open at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 28, 2026. The $49.99 registration fee covers full-day access to all programming, continental breakfast, and a buffet lunch, capped by Cine Gear’s Industry Mixer sponsored by Universal Production Services.
