Cine Gear Expo Atlanta 2025 Success at Trilith Studios

Atlanta, GA – Film industry professionals flocked to Cine Gear Expo Atlanta 2025 at celebrated Trilith Studios in Fayetteville, Georgia, on October 3 and 4. Back for its 6th year in the Atlanta filmmaking hub, Cine Gear Expo caters to professionals from across media, entertainment, and technology to connect, explore, and elevate their craft.

This year’s event offered two dynamic days of immersive experiences, from cutting-edge exhibits to seminars, offering unparalleled opportunities for networking and learning. As in years past—Southern filmmakers had the opportunity to check out the latest cameras, lighting, workflow, and post-production gear, while gaining hands-on training from top technology brands within a working studio lot.

Friday morning’s coffee and conversation kick-off welcomed over 200 attendees. Led by local film community leaders including: Georgia Screen Entertainment Coalition’s Kelsey Moore, Atlanta Film Office’s Cardellia Hunter, Walker Dalton of Film Savannah, Scott Votow from the Georgia Film Academy, and Brennen S. Dicker of the Creative Media Industries Institute GSU, the opening dialog revealed film commission resources and bold strategies for sustaining and attracting production.

The exhibit hall brought together a diverse lineup of essential tools, technologies, and services from across the industry including: Anton Bauer, All Set on Set, Aperturent, Astera, Avenger, Canon, City Theatrical, DrivingPlates.com, ETC, Fiilex, Godox, GVM, Hollyland, Illuvision / DK-Optic, Litepanels, MyCaseBuilder, NEEWER, QNAP, Quasar, REON, RST Visions In Color, Sigma, SmallHD, SWISSON of America, TecnoGen/FTG, Teradek, Wave Central, Wooden Camera, and more.

Cine Gear’s packed panel lineup delivered fresh insights. Friday’s delve into set safety, “Extended Takes, Guns, Power Lines & Lightning… Oh Boy!” featuring Studio Mechanics Local 479, was presented by the International Cinematographers Guild (IATSE Local 600). This year’s “Dialogue with ASC Cinematographers,” gave a rollicking peek behind the curtain starring Directors of Photography William Wages, ASC, Billy Dickson, ASC, Nicole Whitaker, ASC, James Whitaker, ASC, Sidney Sidell, ASCRichard Vialet, ASC and moderator Rodney Taylor, ASC. The International Cinematographers Guild (IATSE Local 600) presented today’s hot topic, “Making Your Mark in Unscripted”, while other panel highlights included valuable insights from the Alliance of Women Directors, the Visual Effects Society, as well as virtual production demos from Lux Machina and Trilith Studios, and more.

Known for its great gatherings, Cine Gear’s Friday’s Happy Hour proved to be the place to casually meet and mingle. The show rolled the goodies into the Expo hall so all enjoyed toasts, tacos, and smiles with speakers, friends and peers—amid the backdrop of world class technology displays.
