The many years of ongoing research in digital technology has been a primary focus among cinema technology professionals where optics and lensing have come into the spotlight. The forum at cinec 2014 will provide for experts to explore and discuss the new developments on a wide range of topics, and most importantly, provide opportunities for professionals to meet!

“Optics, especially old ones, are an essential element of visual design and is currently the focus of the film professional,” explained Angelika Albrecht. Cinec 2014 attracts key manufacturers and experts in refurbishing optics and complete camera systems. ARRI, SONY, and RED DIGITAL will be in attendance, as well as, TELTEC (specialized dealers and system integrators) who will build the “Moving Picture Pavilion” which will showcase Panasonic, Canon, and AJA to name just a few!
