The IBC Content Everywhere Technology in Action Theater will consist of a series of free-to-attend industry case studies covering the themes of Cloud, IP, Production, Post Production and Delivery, giving attendees the opportunity to see technology in action as it intersects all aspects of the industry. Kirkaldie will then follow on highlighting what Cinegy is currently doing to help broadcasters overcome these challenges including a sneak peek of what has been happening in the Cinegy R&D labs with the latest cloud tech.

“This presentation will provide the audience with a broadcaster’s view of the challenges they face pre and post installation and how a cloud and IP based infrastructure has changed the way they broadcast” says Kirkaldie.

The final part will examine HTTP and web protocols and the use of Amazon EC2 Air to send MPEG2 TS over HTTP or WebSockets to a standard HTML5 browser with just a few frames of latency.
