COMPANY INFORMATION: The New York Red Bulls are one of 22 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS). They are one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, having competed in the league since its founding in 1996. They currently play their home matches at Red Bull Arena (RBA) in Harrison, New Jersey. RBA, a state-of-the-art 25,000-seat stadium, is widely regarded as the top soccer-specific stadium in North America. The club is owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull for which the team is named. The first team features 2016 MLS Golden Boot Winner Bradley Wright-Phillips, U.S. international Sacha Kljestan, and several players with USMNT experience. The New York Red Bulls offer one of the nation’s premier youth soccer development programs, from local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey to Regional Development Schools and the Red Bulls Academy teams. POSITION SUMMARY: The New York Red Bulls are seeking an experienced individual to provide technical support within the video board control room at Red Bull Arena. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a live broadcast environment with a strong understanding of the technologies involved in producing the in-house show at a major entertainment venue. This position will report to the Senior Manager of Control Room Operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Required to perform the job)

Install, test, update, maintain, and repair control room production equipment

Research and integrate new technologies into existing infrastructure

Troubleshoot video, audio, and other signal flow issues and provide rapid resolutions

Ensure all systems are functional during New York Red Bulls home games and other RBA events

Coordinate and liaise with television production trucks onsite on event days

Manage the setup and breakdown of all equipment utilized during events (cameras, microphones, speakers, etc.)

Update and maintain technical drawings

Other tasks/duties as assigned SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY: The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities:

Strong knowledge of broadcast system designs, signal flow and infrastructure

Experience with matrix routers, video switchers, graphics systems, instant replay systems, etc. and interconnectivity of all systems

Familiarity with broadcast camera operations including control panels, color, shading and lens tuning

Working knowledge of data networking, radio frequencies, SMPTE standards, broadcast cabling and terminations EDUCATION:

High school diploma required

College degree preferred EXPERIENCE:
Experience in a live production environment required

Experience with professional and/or collegiate sports preferred
