Job Summary

Nickelodeon, home of the #1 preschool brand, seeks a Creative Project Manager for the Interactive Preschool Division. The Creative Project Manager will support a cross-discipline team in a fast-paced and highly collaborate environment. The Creative Project Manager should have a strong background in production and will be responsible for overseeing project development on animated interactive content from conception to completion, partnering with internal production and technical teams.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and maintain processes and workflow
  • Primary point of contact for all team members
  • Collaborate with project leads to ensure their objectives and goals are achieved
  • Manage the production & animation pipeline process to optimize performance and productivity
  • Communicate updates, key dates, and action items on a daily basis
  • Schedule and facilitate meetings along with capturing and disseminating notes and next steps
  • Ensures all stakeholders are included in each round of development and all pertinent approvals are being received
  • Route content and documents for creative review and approval
  • Partner with Technical Project Management to synchronize schedules and resources
  • Partners with the Production Manager ensuring project needs/revisions work within the assigned budget
  • Communicate all feedback in a constructive professional manner between departments
  • Identify, communicate, and problem-solve issues
  • Collaborate with Design, Animation and Asset Media Manager to ensure assets are available and prepped
  • Document errors and bugs and effectively communicate issues with Product and QA
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as required

Qualifications and Skills

  • College degree and 5+ years experience in creative project management.
  • Experience with Animation Workflows (Production & Post Production) and multi-platform projects
  • Knowledge of Autodesk Maya, ToonBoom Harmony, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro & Avid ProTools
  • Expert in PowerPoint, Excel, Word
  • Proficient in Confluence & JiRA & ShowMgr
  • Experienced with MAC and PC Operating Systems and File Systems
  • Extremely detail-oriented, organized and thorough
  • Impeccable communication skills & professional collaborative attitude
  • Must be able to complete tasks on tight deadlines
  • Solid understanding of creative interactive development and digital technologies
  • Passion for creative and be forward thinking in terms of improving process and building efficient workflows
  • Ability to develop accurate cost estimates for projects
  • Able to manage multiple projects and prioritize accordingly to changing deadlines
  • Strong strategic thinker able to thrive under pressure and translate information into effective business cases
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts and requirements to a variety of audiences
