Position Compensation

Salary commensurate with qualifications, education & University guidelines.

Position Information


The purpose of this position is to guide all the creative projects and is responsible for the overall quality of work produced by the creative department including but not limited to graphic design, website design, animation, streaming, maintenance and updates, promotion and marketing collateral.


Supervises team of designers, editors, and creative freelancers.


Internal contacts include faculty and staff of the University and Hospital.

External contacts are with public and private related organizations.


Responsible for maintaining, video streaming and updating the website.

Provide traffic reports for the website and Social Media.

Responsible for creating blogs related to outreach initiatives and programming that the station is involved in.

Responsible for downloading and tagging promos for programs.

Leads and directs the creative staff in the production of all promotional and marketing collateral, and ensure that visual communication standards are met across various media.

Responsible for creating printed materials for promoting the station, its programs and activities.

Coordinate with the university’s enterprise department to ensure the compliance of the station’s website with university standards.

Performs other related duties as assigned.


Must have knowledge of television production and industry standards in regards to on-air graphics package and design.

Must be able to multi-task and meet daily deadlines.

Working knowledge of HTML, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, DreamWeaver, JavaScript, Adobe Photoshop, and FTP Programs required.

Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment.

Ability to plan and prioritize activities in an office setting. Project management and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in small, lively office environment and meaningfully contribute to team projects.

Competence in both oral and written English to communicate in clear and concise manner.

Ability to establish and maintain effective and harmonious work relations with faculty, staff, students and the community.


Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or closely related field and 3-5 years relevant experience. 10 years of related work experience may be substituted in lieu of educational qualifications. TV background is a plus.
