Compact design delivers Bigger, Rounder, Brighter Output
February 25, 2026—To expand the creative potential of the compact Astera QuikBeam, DoPchoice introduces the SNAPBAG® Round. The new light-shaping accessory transforms the powerful Fresnel spot into a bigger, rounder, and brighter soft source without sacrificing portability.
Designed exclusively for the Astera QuikBeam, the SNAPBAG® Round maintains a compact footprint both when packed and fully set up, perfectly matching the fixture’s go-anywhere philosophy. Despite its small size, it instantly shapes the output into a larger round surface, creating flattering, natural-looking illumination ideal for interviews, closeups, and eye light. The silver reflective fabric interior maximizes brightness and efficiency, ensuring impressive output even when diffusion is applied.
The SNAPBAG® Round offers multiple diffusion options for flexible light control. A Quarter Grid Cloth baffle mounts inside the bowl to soften the beam internally. Included are Half Grid and SNAPCLOTH, interchangeable shower cap-style front diffusions, so users can select different softness levels. For maximum intensity and a more direct look, the unit can also be used open face, sans diffusion.
Set up is fast. SNAPBAG® Round pops instantly out of its black pouch into a rigid bowl shape. Single hook and loop straps secure its round semi-circular form, while a rear elastic attaches the mounting ring via two slots. Next, the mounting ring connects directly to the fixture’s front ears to complete the assembly. The front diffusion stretches shower cap-style, easily across the front.
SNAPBAG® Round tucks seamlessly into the Astera QuikBeam 4-Unit PrepCase Kit and standard case configurations. Each SNAPBAG® Round comes folded in a durable black pouch with a locking drawstring closure and a clear vinyl pocket for product identification.
