Broadcast Beat Studios (booth# C8835) and Broadcast Beat, in association with NAB, will produce the 2023 edition of NAB Show LIVE from NAB Show® in Las Vegas, beginning Thursday, April 16, and running through April 19.
The show will be broadcast eight hours each day on www.nabshow.com, Facebook, YouTube, and other social media outlets, providing comprehensive coverage of NAB Show activities and live interviews with participants.
NAB Show is the world’s largest electronic media event covering entertainment technology and the development, management, and delivery of content across all mediums. This year NAB Show celebrates its 100th anniversary, after beginning with the first show in 1923.
The NAB Show floor will feature some of the world’s leading brands and companies, as well as first-time exhibitors and innovation zones showcasing the most cutting-edge technology advancements for media and entertainment.
“Our coverage of NAB Show will include every aspect of the event, from the various pavilions to interviews with notable figures attending the show,” said Ryan Salazar, executive producer of NAB Show LIVE. “Using advanced bonded cellular and IP technology, we will for the first time be totally mobile and live from anywhere in Las Vegas.”
Salazar, who has produced NAB Show LIVE for almost a decade, said this year’s marathon production will be different since it will not come from a central stage, but from throughout the venue using six LiveU LU600-equipped mobile crews and two LiveU LU800 portable ENG units to transmit several other live camera feeds from throughout the venue.
“With our ability to relay video directly from the NAB Show floor in Las Vegas 2,500 miles back to the Broadcast Beat Studio’s Florida control room, we can broadcast NAB Show content anywhere in the world live as it happens,” said Salazar. “This extreme level of mobility wasn’t available when I started doing NAB Shows a decade ago.”
Salazar said each year the NAB Show features the best media industry talent and NAB Show Live will showcase them in a wide range of segments with in-depth interviews. “We will provide the best and most current information the industry has to offer,” Salazar said. “Our plan is to bring the NAB Show to those who cannot attend in person.”
Broadcast Beat Studios will also be exhibiting at the show in booth #C8835.
