What advice do you have for someone who has never been to the NAB Show before?

First and foremost: comfortable shoes! On the serious side, people should maximize the opportunity to meet with some of the greatest technologists and marketers in the industry.

Why do you attend the NAB Show?

I attend NAB for several reasons, but most importantly we are there to support our clients and make sure they receive the attention they deserve, whether it be speaking opportunities, award nominations, press or company events and arranging journalist interviews for maximum exposure. NAB is also THE place where new technologies, solutions and products are launched, so it’s helpful to see where our clients fit in and determine the best path to elevate their presence in a competitive marketplace.

What are you looking forward to in 2015?

I am seriously an NAB junkie. The show energizes me! I love to see both attendees and exhibitors excited about the future of the industry, and I love to connect with the people that I communicate with all year via phone, Skype and email. NAB brings a very global business down to a local level for a few days each year.

Where is the best place to meet people at NAB?

At the Desert Moon / Jump party, of course. Every year, Desert Moon and our UK partner, Jump (Kate Ford and Joss Armitage) invite our clients, friends and journalists to join us for a drink. It gives us the opportunity to thank everyone for their patronage, friendship and business in a very informal atmosphere. And it allows everyone to just kick back and relax after a very busy, and successful day on the show floor.
