Backnang, Germany, 27 January 2026: Hiltron will highlight the fruits of its 45-plus years of experience in satellite communications system integration and product development at the annual GovSatCom in the European Convention Center, Luxembourg. The exhibition and its parallel conference will be held on Thursday 26 February.

“GovSatCom has proved a consistently useful show, attracting existing and potential customers in the government-related and wider satcom sectors,” comments Antonio Monteverde, Managing Director of Hiltron Communications. “We will be promoting our industry proven skills in designing, building and commissioning complete solutions configured to match each client’s specific requirements. Hundreds of Hiltron systems are in successful operation around the world, ranging from DVB satellite links for broadcast television and radio transmission, telco data links and VSAT systems to TVRO installations for cable headends or terrestrial networks, DSNG vehicles, L-band and IF-band fibre-optic systems, DVB-terrestrial encoding, multiplex headends and IPTV headends.”

“Our system integration activity includes third-party devices where these deliver in terms of performance, robustness and ease of operation, augmented by Hiltron-developed equipment if required. Hiltron’s decades of experience in RF and mechanical design gives us the flexibility to specify, build and deliver customised satcom solutions at any required scale, backed by supplementary services such as operator training, onsite or online support and long-term technical maintenance.”

“Among Hiltron-designed products we will be promoting at GovSatCom 2026 are the HMAM three-axis motorised antenna mount, HACU antenna control unit, HRMU redundancy and monitoring unit, HTOOL-LNBS portable LNB supply, HCS modular control system, HMCS-MCR monitoring and control system, HDCU de-icing control unit and HMCS-SNG satellite newsgathering control system. We will also focus on the versatility of our HMAM-XY motorised antenna mount. This is designed for transmit/receive applications with LEO, MEO, smallsat satellite constellations and drones as well as traditional geostationary satellites. Building on 15 years of HMAM development, it can be used with parabolic reflectors and planar antennas of up to 3 metres diameter, operating in L, S, C, X, Ku and Ka band with circular or linear polarisation. Key features include fast tracking speed with low backlash and full hemispheric coverage with no zenith keyhole.”
