Insight TV, the world’s leading 4K UHD HDR broadcaster and producer of native UHD-content, has signed an agreement with the National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC) to offer its 4K/UHD network to NCTC’s members nationwide. MTC, which serves the Central Catskill re-gion of New York, is the first to launch Insight TV. The announcement was made to-day by Mark Romano, VP, Americas, Insight TV.
NCTC represents more than 750 small and mid-sized independent cable and broad-band operators across the U.S. Under the terms of the agreement, all NCTC member systems will be able to opt-in to a carriage agreement with Insight TV so they can of-fer their subscribers the channel’s high-quality, high-energy adventure/lifestyle pro-gramming, available in stunning UHD. MTC added Insight TV to its 4K tier of chan-nels.
