About the Job
Do you love storytelling? Combing through interviews to find the thread that weaves it all together? Or finding the perfect image to evoke the feeling of words on a script? Interested in politics too? If so, fast-paced, screen agnostic, boutique ad agency based in Annapolis, MD seeks a Jr. Editor to assist in crafting TV, Web and Radio advertising.
A little bit about us — we are experienced campaign professionals and storytellers with a record of winning tough political campaigns. But we work with more than just candidates. We take that political playbook and apply it to public affairs, issue advocacy and corporate campaigns. Our office is a converted roller rink with an “all hands on deck” type of collaborative and creative environment. So we do enjoy ourselves but the ability to multi task and stay on hard deadlines is still paramount.
How would you fit in? You will assist in the production of National TV, Web and Radio spots. This includes ingesting, organizing, syncing and maintaining all media. Maintaining our B-Roll library and ensuring editors have access to all footage as needed. You will also be creating web videos and assembling rough cuts of TV spots. You will need to be experienced in Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premier, After Effects and Photoshop and if you know Baselight your stock just went up!
Previous production and relevant office experience is excellent but recent college grads with knowledge of editing and looking for their first shot shouldn’t be shy. This is a salaried position starting 48K or commensurate with experience.
Please send a brief cover letter and resume/CV.
