Job Purpose

The Junior Designer works with our Art Director, Photography and content teams, to drive Good Eggs growth marketing efforts across digital, physical and experiential platforms, evolve our brand expression, and engage in brainstorms and discussions that touch nearly every facet of our business.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Junior Designer works both independently and as a key member of our tight-knit Marketing team. You’ll participate in various design projects from concept to completion, produce drafts, prototypes and engaging design solutions, and explore emerging communications platforms — digital, social, experiential, film, photo, packaging and more. You’ll work closely with our content, marketing, and photography teams to bring the Good Eggs brand voice to life.

  • Marketing collateral (ads, banners, etc)
  • Packaging and other physical assets
  • Email design (editorial and transactional)
  • UI/iconography for Web and Apps
  • Production management (sourcing paper stock, working with vendors)
  • Pitch creative ideas that enhance projects
  • Collaborate with team members to launch designs

Success in This Role is Measured By:

  • Increased brand awareness
  • Quality and consistency of Good Eggs’ visual brand language
  • Increased web/app traffic


  • 2+ years of design experience across a variety of media (print, web, mobile)
  • Stellar type and layout skills, and the ability to discern “good” from “great”
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc
  • Understanding of Web and Mobile Technologies (CSS, Responsive Web Design)
  • Experience in a production environment (Attention to detail and sustained momentum)
  • Experience in Print Production (file output and delivery, press checks, proofing)
  • High level of output (both quality and quantity) in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible and optimistic, generative and open — willing to explore new approaches and ideas!
  • Comfortable with HTML/CSS
  • Knowledge of Email Design

Nice to Haves:

  • Videography skills (filming and editing)
  • Some UX design/thinking knowledge
  • Understanding of project management tools (such as Agile, Trello, Pivotal)
  • Prototyping skills (digital, physical, etc)
  • Non-digital design skills (painting, drawing, printmaking, etc.)
