Live 360 Streaming at BVE

London 9th February 2016– Groovy Gecko will be producing a live 360 degree stream directly from its stand at BVE, using its cutting edge 360 live workflow. The stream is compatible across multiple devices, including VR headsets, and embeddable in social media. The live demonstration will run throughout the show.

Groovy Gecko will also be demonstrating its social streaming technology, which allows delivery of fully produced live interactive video content into social media posts. The technology, along with a suite of accompanying tools, allows clients to deliver live streams and create instant soundbite clips to be shared on social media while the main webcast is still live. It also enables the creation of  live second screen experiences for television through social media, without the need for apps or additional platforms. Groovy Gecko is now a Facebook Video Publishing Partner.

“We are very proud to be demonstrating this cutting edge technology at BVE,” commented Jake Ward, Business Development Director, Groovy Gecko. Adding “The live 360 stream is a first for BVE and we believe this will be a real game changer for streaming.”

Groovy Gecko’s Jake Ward will be moderating a session as part of the co-located Streaming Forum. The session, focused on the future of streaming will ask whether networks such as Periscope do away with the need for webcasting. It takes place at 12:00pm on Tuesday the 23rd February.

Groovy Gecko will be exhibiting on Stand D51, from 23rd – 25th February at the Excel, London.
