About the Job

Premier reality-factual TV Production company based in NYC is looking for a Manager of Production to join their in-house team. Looking for a dynamic and motivated individual who will contribute their wealth of production management knowledge to an ever-evolving slate of projects within the company.

Responsibilities Include, but Are Not Limited To:

-Oversee and execute production needs for all development projects, presentations/ pilots and pick up shoots for current series.
-Liaise with post production department to deliver footage, schedules and delivery of development/pilot projects.
-Track costs for all development department / project needs.
-Set up and manage insurance requirements for all productions.
-Update all company accounting and production templates / procedures.
-Maintain & update 3rd party vendor lists for production needs.
-On board freelance production management teams to protocols as necessary.
-Oversee and track the production assets & equipment across all projects.
-Support the Head of Production and production team as necessary.

Your experience:

-Experience as a seasoned production manager/line producer in reality / factual programming.
-Understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and cost reports. Ability to track costs over all projects and work with finance to keep cost reports up to date.
-Excellent organizational skills; ability to handle multiple projects at once. Well versed in Excel, Word, Google Docs & Movie Magic Budgeting.
-Experience with travel and hiring local crews around the US, relying on strong rolodex of crew/staff.
-Strong Pre-production and On-set problem solving ability.
-Experience working closely with talent, production and network executives is a major asset.

This is a full time position with benefits and is based in NYC and candidate must be local to the area. This position will start remote with occasional days in office and will be expected to work in office in NYC starting from September. Some travel will be required on a case by case basis.
