Emmerdale to Deliver the Right Standards with Marquis’ Medway’s DPP Functionality

September 8, 2014: Marquis Broadcast, specialist in content workflows and media integration software has today announced ITV’s Emmerdale will use its latest Medway development to deliver files in AS-11 format.  The new Digital Production Partnership (DPP) support from Marquis, will enable Emmerdale to deliver content to its transmission facility in Chiswick Park, in the new, required DPP AS11 delivery format which becomes mandatory in the UK from October.

Ben Miles, business development manager, Marquis Broadcast explains:  “Emmerdale has been using Medway, our sophisticated software tool kit which enables seamless and cost-effective integration between leading broadcast content applications, for several years.   Medway’s ability to transfer media and provide conversion services between Avid environments ensures the various systems in use at Emmerdale can work together. “Our focus on creating solutions for the efficient integration of broadcast and editing systems allows technical and operational workflows to be optimised,” continues Miles.  “After Emmerdale has finished editing a programme in Avid, the Medway DPP support creates an AS11 file which can then be delivered ready for transmission.”

The latest Medway developments will be on show at IBC on booth 2.A58.  For further information see:  or go to:
