The Multimedia Design Specialist will provide support to the Global Business Services leadership with all creative materials and design projects from concept to completion. Materials include: print, digital graphics and web design, photography and illustration. Provide assurance to strengthen and reinforce reputation of the organization. Must provide high quality, professional design materials and projects for entire organization, which includes consulting brand, concept, purpose, audience, usage and distribution.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Serves as an ambassador and guardian of the CGFNS International, Inc. brand and style, supporting consistency, accountibility to, and quality of messages conveyed, possessing strong understanding with look, feel, voice and overall brand presence across all project types and media
  • Works collaboratively with the GBS team to fulfill daily projects and assignments while providing support to the GBS leadership, developing creative concepts in support of CGFNS’ marketing and communication objectives which may include print and digital design, photography, graphics and illustrations
  • Implements design projects across organization; consulting on concept, purpose, audience, usage and distribution, assuring adherence to budget and schedule, while providing accurate and creative materials
  • Maintains professional relationship with internal and external clients. Coordinates production details and attends press checks, as needed
  • Provides graphic and production expertise to department colleagues and internal clients, maintain an exceptional level of quality control through self-proofing and style guide adherence.
  • Assists in general office procedures and performs additional duties and assists with special projects as assigned
  • Maintains, updates and provides creative insight to CGFNS and ICNM (International Centre on Nurse Migration) a partnership between the International Council of Nurses and CGFNS, websites including and not limited to its content, layout and design;


  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field required
  • 3-5 years of graphic design/production experience, preferably in a non-profit environment
  • Expert knowledge of all methods, principles, procedures and techniques in graphics and applications
  • Strong graphic design skills, understanding of digital graphics, web creation, production design and multimedia techniques and principles
  • Highly proficient in all standard computer applications: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Thorough knowledge of Mac and PC hardware/software; digital peripherals (scanners, laser printers, digital cameras, etc.)
  • Must be a team player with strong creative, conceptual and media skills with outstanding organizational and prioritization skills; Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making and writing skills
  • Must have ability to handle multiple projects in a multi-faceted, fast-paced environment.

Language: Fluency in a foreign language preferred but not required.
