NATPE Miami 2017 Conference Slated for January 17-19


The National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE) has announced that their Miami 2017 Conference is going to be held January 17 through January 19 at the Fontainebleau and Eden Roc resorts in Miami Beach, Florida.

The 2017 Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Awards will be hosted by Natalie Moralis and the 2017 award recipients will include Eva Longoria, Randy Flacco, Suzanne Daniels, Dan Walden, Gary Newman and Josh Sappan. Morales is currently the West Coast anchor for NBC‘s The Today Show and also works as co-host on the television shows Access Hollywood and Access Hollywood Live. There will be a huge gala affair held in conjunction with the awards ceremonies on January 18.

The conference itself will be experiencing a further growth spurt with the introduction of a Master Class Series which will feature some of the top creators in the television industry providing seminars designed to encourage and inspire those attending the conference. Master Class sessions will include such offerings as “Comedy Writing at its Best” delivered by the co-creator of Modern Family, Steve Levitan and Emilio Estafan, winner of 19 Grammy Awards, conducting a seminar on “How to Navigate the Music Industry”.

There will also be a keynote address given by Jason Dorsey, co-founder of The Center for Generational Kinetics. Dorsey will address the conference regarding generational challenges going forward for the industry especially with how to engage a Millennial audience.
